Michael’s path to French Creek Golf Club as the Membership Director is storied to say the least. Not long after graduating High School in Killen, TX, Michael joined the United States Army as a Combat Engineer. During his time in the military, he deployed to several countries across the world in defense of our country, attained a Bachelors degree in Business Management from American University, and ended his career in Recruiting Command. Michael retired from the US Army in 2014, and moved to his wife’s hometown of Ephrata, PA. Since returning to Pennsylvania, he has designed and run Recruiting and Talent Acquisition operations for countless companies across the country.
Michael started playing golf at the age of 9, when he received his first set of clubs for Christmas. When the opportunity to be the Membership Director at French Creek Golf Club arose, he jumped at the chance to combine his previous experience with his lifelong love of golf.
Michael is married to his amazing wife of 15 years, Elizabeth, and has 5 children ranging in age from 23 to 3. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family and friends, play golf, coach pee-wee football, and cheer on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.
